We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Head of Safe Place to join our business, based here at DSG Warminster. In this role you'll act as the accountable for technical compliance and assurance for the management, maintenance and control of Ranges, Training Areas and Facilities, ensuring the safe running and operation for DIO and End Users pre, during and post training.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Head of Safe Place who will lead, inspire, and motive their team, ensuring a safe running and operation for all training, in line with DIO standards and current legislation. What will you be doing?
This role is based at DSG Warminster Based with a requirement to relocate to Tilshead, SP3 4RS after 9 months (approx. 30 mins away).

The role involves:
* TAROM, including inspections, documentation and processes
* Training Estate Public Safety (TEPS)
* Overseas deployments and CONDO
* GFE and related inspections
* Air Weapons Ranges, RAF Spadeadam Threat Systems & deployments events
* Staff training and SQEP
* Lead for CI and innovation. Delivery of SIGRID 5/ SAF-Foresight delivery implementation lead

The experience you'll bring
* Has held the LFTTA "A" qualification (Pamphlet 21)
* Training delivery to CT2 experience
* Combat Arms End User training experience (preferred)
* Previous Range Safety appointment (preferred)
* Full driving licence
* Attend and pass the DTE Range Safety course
* Must hold of have ability to obtain SC security clearance
