HGV Class 1 & 2 Drivers

We have an opportunity working as a class 1 & 2 driver to join our client on a permanent basis. Our client is the UK's leading food wholesaler, who specialise in the storage and distribution of fresh produce from worldwide exporters, growers, and importers, with expertise in delivering to the UK wholesale markets.

Your role will consist of supporting the delivery schedule as required, by delivering chilled and frozen food produce between depots and hubs across the UK.

We welcome new and experienced drivers who are flexible in their approach to work and have excellent communication skills. This is an opportunity where class 1 & 2 drivers can put their existing skills to use as well as gaining new ones. What does the job involve?

• Delivery of chilled/frozen/ambient food products between depots
• Monday to Friday OR Sunday to Thursday (5 out of a 7-day working week)
• Various start times (Days 4:00am - 10:00am/Nights 15:30pm - 1:00am) - 10-hour shift minimum (start times can change)
• Overtime expected
• Weekly pay
• No more than 6 points.
• Guaranteed full time permanent hours (50 hours a week)

• Class 1 (Cat C+E) & Class 2 (Cat C) entitlement
• Newly qualified and experienced Drivers

• Prospective drivers will need to have the relevant LGV licence, Digital Tachograph Card and DCPC.
