Maintenance Technician opportunity with a local food producer who have been growing steadily in recent years

Day shift OR Evening shift

Days Mon to Fri 7am - 4pm / £15 ph

Evenings 4 on 4 off 3.30pm - 2am / £18 ph

Suitable candidates will need to be qualified in an engineering discipline, you will need similar maintenance experience in a production setting, preferably with strong electrical knowledge

The Role

  • Maintenance and repairs on production machinery
  • Complete engineering tasks efficiently to minimise downtime
  • Planned and reactive maintenance on machinery, electrical and mechanical systems
  • Fault find, trouble shoot and help with improvements
  • Work in a safe manner adhering to regulations
  • Install new equipment effectively

What we are looking for

  • Qualified to Level 3 or above in Engineering, preferably electrical
  • Proven maintenance experience in a production setting
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
  • Preferably experience in electrics such as single & three phase, PLC's, control circuits
  • Knowledge of health & safety policies
