Main purpose of the role

To recruit, progress and complete a caseload of learners.

Top four major tasks and activities
* To deliver agreed targets
* Identity and engage potential employers and enrol learners onto government funded programmes and commercial learners to achieve targets
* The training, assessment, progression and completion of learners as per the Awarding Body (or Assessment Organisation) code of Practice and Babcock Quality Assurance frameworks. This will be delivered through face to face or group training activity
* To effectively diary manage to ensure all learners within your caseload are fully supported to meet company and contractual requirements

Additional key accountabilities:
* Ensure sites meet Health and Safety standards
* Attend, participate and contribute to team meetings and standardisations
* Maintain and record all Continuous Professional Development including current professional skills and qualifications through company training and other development opportunities
* Ensure all Etrack procedures and upgrades are adhered to as per Company policies and procedures
* Gain feedback from employers and customers as per Company procedures
* Comply with Internal Verification strategy by ensuring site visits are arranged with your Internal Verifier/ Quality Assurer, and sampling plans are always current
* Ensure all Babcock policies, processes and procedures are maintained and promoted, specifically those related to security, equality, diversity and inclusion; health, safety and environmental, and welfare and safeguarding

What do I need to do the role?
Key technical skills / competencies:
* IT literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
* Excellent literacy skills and the ability to understand and interpret Information
* Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to calculate and interpret figures
* Industry experience in relevant sector

Key behavioural competencies:
* A professional demeanour
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to work effectively within a team and on an individual basis
* Willing to undertake travel within the region as the role and business needs require
* Self-motivated with a flexible approach and strong work ethic

Company / industry knowledge:
* In-depth industry experience
* Management experience within relevant occupational discipline
* Up to date industry knowledge to include legislation knowledge
* Current knowledge of all Awarding Organisation and Sector Skill Council information

Qualifications:
* L2 Maths, English and ICT (essential)
* Relevant industry related qualifications such as HND or NVQ's (desirable)
* CAVA qualification (desirable)
* Award in Education and Training (desirable)

Other:
* You must have or have the ability to obtain enhanced DBS security clearance with Children's Barred List check
