An exciting opportunity has arisen for a eCommerce Business Analyst to join our client, a leading global FMCG company, to be based at their prestigious facility in Leatherhead currently working 2 days per week ideally Tues and Thursday and 3 days working from Home. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 36.25-hour week, to start ASAP. This role is paying between £35,000 - £40,000 pro rata per annum, depending on experience.

The eCommerce Analyst provides support to the UK NRM team across the 5 levers defined in the NRM Framework & develops new Smart Data practices & capability enabling the fastest growing team in the UK to grow faster and make better data-driven decisions.


  • Brand/channel portfolio pricing: Ensuring we capture the full value of our brands for consumers
  • Pack price architecture: Delivering the right format, right pack, at right price, by channel
  • Active mix management: Driving our brand / pack / channel mix to where the profit and growth are
  • Promotion management: Ensuring we tailor promotional strategies by mission, channel
  • Trade spend translation: Investing holistically in winning customers

  • BI Dashboard - UK internal performance tool
  • Amazon Profit Per SKU Tool
  • Market Mix Modelling automation
  • eNRM L0-2 automation

The NRM Analyst is part of the UK eCommerce team and works cross functionally with different departments within the company. The role will support the eCommerce manager and Net Revenue Management team to roll out a program that will identify opportunities by category (and by NRM lever). Finally, the NRM Analyst will contribute to ad hoc NRM led analysis and workflows, and support the set-up and organisation of meetings critical to progress the NRM agenda.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Delivering the eNRM program;

Analyzing large data sets to help business hypothesis on online NRM

Track NRM performance in market:

Development of the program roll-out:

Use of Nielson, Kantar, 5One (Ocado) and One Click Retail (Amazon) databases to deliver data driven insight

Demonstrate the optimization of media and promotional ROI through MMM output

Delivery of smart data dashboards;

Build BRD (briefing tool) for new capability & tools projects

  • Be the product owner and guide for the project owner & tech teams
  • Interact with the end-users (typically UK eCommerce team) to ensure the tools are fit for use & tailored to the UK market
  • Demonstrate & drive adoption of the tools through training and 1-2-1 support

Required Experience;

  • University Educated (preference: Technical Studies or econometric)
  • Experience in identifying opportunities from data and working through a process to bring insights to reality is a plus
  • Experience of the FMCG industry is a plus

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills and ability to work with financial and external market data
  • Strong ability to generate insights from analyses and synthesize findings
  • Good financial knowledge
  • Computer-literate & highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
