This is your opportunity to join Babcock as a Multi-Skilled Operative (Small Works)

You'll provide multi skilled support to the Small Works teams as and when directed.

This role is based at Faslane, Helensburgh.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Operative within our Small Works team with knowledge of Small Works activities and equipment who is comfortable working at heights.

What will you be doing?

Your key responsibilities will include:

* To provide support to Small Works teams to enable the completion of all planned and reactive activities to ensure the department meets the objectives of the Business
* Ensure that work is carried out in line with current processes and make suggestions on improving systems and processes to increase productivity in accordance with set objectives and timescales.
* Work within all H&S legislation, Safe Systems Of Work and control of work processes within BM&T Clyde policies.

The experience you'll bring

* Knowledge of manual handling
* Knowledge of risk Assessments, COSHH & Safe Systems of Work
* Knowledge of control, issue and return of work equipment
* Knowledge of working at Height fall prevention systems
* You should hold or have the ability to obtain SC Clearance.
