Role

My client is looking for a vastly experienced, passionate, and dedicated CNC Turner

Duties included for this role are listed

Programming and operating CNC lathes, complete knowledge of Fanuc controls and can work to different materials

Able to invent, load, examine and modify all aspects of CNC programmes

Can use a large variety of measuring equipment

Working to customer specification and inspect and measuring the parts to ensure they obey to the drawings

Essential requirements for the successful candidate are as followed

• Must be able to work from drawings and patterns.
• Experience on XYZ Protrack mill is an advantage
• Lathe is 4 metres long and used to manufacture large hydraulic cylinders, so should not be apprehensive to use this type of machine
• Use of fixed and travelling steadies essential, internal and external thread cutting is a necessity

Package

My client is looking to offer a competitive of salary of £33,500 per year on a 40-hour week, overtime at time and a half, ½ hour lunch plus two 10 minute paid breaks, one morning, one afternoon.

Holidays are 20 days + statutory, 4 days to be kept for close down at Christmas, my client run auto-enrolment with Smart Pensions
