An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the world's most successful, purpose-led businesses, our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil and Magnum, as People Partner-Change. The role is remote and can be home based however open to location across our 4 offices in either London, Port Sunlight, Kingston or Leatherhead. This is a full-time temporary role to start ASAP for 6 months, paying up to £50,000 per annum, pro rata (depending on location).
Role Purpose:
- The purpose of the role is to partner the HRBP, business leads and the wider HR team to strategically plan and deliver the end-to-end activities in a large-scale change management project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing procedural advice in line with UK Employment Law and business principles to all key stakeholders involved
- Attend individual and collective consultation meetings to document and support
- Work with the wider HR team to ensure all documentation including letters and meeting notes is provided in a timely manner
- Be the first point of contact for any affected employees, to support in signposting to outplacement and wellbeing resources
- Work with HRBPs and Leaders to create and deliver project plans
- Our role with ER can be very hands-on, writing scripts, creating outcome letters, etc. to support cases through to completion.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of UK Employment Law and practices
- Strong stakeholder management
- You will be experienced in handling sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy, you are comfortable having difficult conversations, working professionally and discreetly with sensitive information
- Both the what and the how are important to us - explaining requirements/processes is key, but first comes the critical step of gaining buy-in from your stakeholders. Therefore, you'll have strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, building strong relationships with trust & confidence, as well as having the ability to influence.
- Speed and agility are everything - you will be able to keep on top of multiple activities at once, whilst maintaining care and attention and prioritising well.
