IT Technical Support Analyst
Location: Bicester, Oxford, GB, OX6 0YA
Compensation: Up to £28,500 DOE + Benefits

We have a great opportunity for an IT Technical Support Analyst to join our business, being responsible for supporting and maintaining IT systems including desktop support/provision, network infrastructure, and associated software and business applications, in order that all Authority and Babcock people can maximise their use of IT and meet Authority/Babcock commitment to deliver training services to the RSME.

Who we are looking for?

You will demonstrate strong customer service skills with the ability to facilitate and maintain excellent customer relationships as well as the ability to identify key challenges and implement timely action to achieve the desired output.

What will you be doing?

* Provide Service Desk support (1st / 2nd Line) to ensure calls are managed in line with agreed SLA / KPI.
* Provide user support to ensure the effective and timely resolution of technical problems, keeping staff informed of the status of their request for support.
* Document solutions to problems regarding standard IT applications and record them in the IT Knowledge Base (Wiki on Sharepoint, How to and in house training).
* Have responsibility for the technical set up of presentation facilities including laptops and projectors. (Audio Visual elements).
* Undertake the day to day operation of backup systems including rotation of backup tapes.
* Manage and Deliver software deployment as instructed/requested.

The experience you'll bring

* MS Windows 7/10 MCP desirable
* Support of MS Front office applications
* Backup Software and software assurance
* Storage Technologies (NAS recovery and restoration of files)
* Strong Customer Service Skills
* Full British Driving License and vehicle

Lastly, you must hold or have the ability to obtain SC security clearance.
