Description:
The EMEA Sourcing Manager will collaborate across Europe, Middle East and Africa to implement procurement strategy across various categories. This include providing internal and market analytic, leading the procurement execution of sourcing projects and contracts, facilitating continuous improvement and ideation as well as assist in Supplier Relationship Management.
The EMEA Sourcing Manager will focus on bringing sourcing expertise and innovative solutions, which deliver value, manage risk and accelerate the pace of our businesses.

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Strategy & Leadership Competencies
* Implement procurement strategy across various countries and categories by determining appropriate methods of procurement; role dependent on category and project complexity and in accordance with organisational objectives and sourcing strategies.
* Provide internal and market analytic to support development of strategic category plans, country performance and budget management processes as required. Builds understanding of global, end-to-end value chain as it relates to the categories in focus.
* Is effective, accountable, and focused on team delivery. Makes timely decisions and understands risks associated with decisions.
* Collaborate with colleagues on resource allocation process. Acknowledges respects and gains benefits from working with different people and groups: actively listens and effectively engages others, respects the expertise of others and values their ability to contribute.
* Has knowledge of methods of analysing problems and arriving at fruitful solutions. Has ability to identify, argue for and implement improvements within own areas of responsibility. Ability to use transferable skills acquired from previous experiences. "

Professional Competencies
* Proven process and project management skills. Is able to prioritise and manage a large number of projects and independently applies project management framework.

Minimum Requirements:

* Fluent in English and French, a third language like Italian is preferred
* Experience within indirect categories is preferred
* Pharma experience is preferred
* Ariba experience preferred (contracting, sourcing, spend visibility)
* Minimum of 5 years' work experience with 4 years of procurement or relevant experience.
* Bachelor's Degree (Business, Science or Engineering is desirable), Master's Degree in related field preferred.
* Relevant industry certification is preferred, e.g. Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply Professional (CIPS), Procurement Master's degree
