Our client is looking for a coded TIG Welder in Leeds working a day shift, Monday to Friday working to ASME 9 standards. Ideally you will have previously been certified to coded standard working on pipe. The role will be for 6 months but has the opportunity to extended after that time.
Your role will include welding pipework and casings; majority will be welding pipework onto casings but will also be some repair work such as fixing cracks. You will be welding various materials including stainless steel, carbon steel and duplex. A weld test will be required before your start (ASME 9).
Overtime is available and paid at time and a half, there is an early Friday finish, free parking and you will be in a comfortable work environment.
Ideally, you will be apprentice trained and qualified up to level 3 as a TIG welder and previously been coded. The option of being paid self-employed is also available. Interested in this position based in Leeds? Click here and apply today
