Warehouse Operative

Manpower UK have a new opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work for our client based in West Thurrock. The company, a logistics and freight forwarding group, have just upscaled into a new warehouse and are looking to add a Warehouse Operative to their growing team. 1-2 years warehousing experience is preferred (with an FLT licence advantageous) along with a friendly, can-do attitude. They are also looking for somebody who is reliable and willing to listen and learn. If this sounds like you then please feel free to apply! The site has good transport links with several bus routes stopping outside the yard. A café is less than a 5-minute walk from site and Lakeside Shopping Centre is a 10-minute walk. A Transport background/interest would be beneficial although not essential as full training will be provided from day one.

Salary - 19-25K Depending on experience

Shift Pattern - Monday to Friday (No weekends or Bank Holidays!)

Working Hours - 08.00 to 17.00 with a 15 minute tea break at 10.00 and 1 hour lunch break at 13.00

General Duties:

• Stacking and wrapping pallets
• Picking/packing and labelling pallets ready for dispatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Occasionally go out on route with the Delivery Driver as a Drivers Mate
• Greet visitors on site and assist the Management Team
• General Housekeeping and warehouse duties i.e. sweeping of yard, emptying bins
