Intro to the business

A global leading organisation working within health-care and life sciences sectors, designing containment isolator for the pharmaceutical industry.

The Role

• Specify, design and test solutions for PLC & SCADA control systems.
• Provide support to Project Managers, Validation Team, EC&I Engineers & Mechanical Design Engineers with respect to the design of products.
• Specialised in using PLC programming, SCADA.
• Report and update the progress of the project.
• To assist in the production of test protocols and support all Pre-FAT and FAT activities.

The ideal Candidate will have (These are flexible)

Knowledge

• Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
• Design of electrical and pneumatic control systems.
• Design and integration of PLC & SCADA control systems.
• Software development Life cycles, processes, and procedures.
• HMI, PLC and SCADA programming skills.
• Siemens TIA Portal (WinCC), Rockwell Studio 5000 and Factory Talk
• AVEVA Intouch (Wonderware).

Bonus Knowledge

• Product knowledge
• OEM experience & manufacture.

Experience

• Design of electrical controls.

Bonus Experience

• Experience within Pharma or a similarly regulated industrial sector (for example Oil & Gas or PetroChem).
• Proven experience in PLC control systems design and programming.

Educational background

• Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering
