Intro to the business
A global leading organisation working within health care and life sciences sectors, designing containment isolator for the pharmaceutical industry.
The role
- Liaise with Mechanical Design Engineers to effect full integration of EC&I requirements into the overall project.
- To produce P&ID schematic to show the extent of the control element of the project
- Production of HMI & PLC Software Design Specifications where applicable.
- Producing functional Design Specification for the control's element of projects.
- Test of protocols and support all Pre-FAT and FAT activities.
The ideal Candidate will have (These are flexible)
Knowledge:
- Design of electrical and pneumatic control systems.
- Industrial Machine Controls System Design
- Knowledge of standards for safe and hazardous area
- electrical designs.
- Use of a CAD package for designing electrical circuits
- PC literate
Bonus Knowledge
- Experience within Pharma or a similarly regulated industrial sector (for example Oil & Gas or PetroChem).
- Proven experience in PLC control systems design and programming.
Experience
- Design of electrical controls
- Use of a CAD package to design controls
Bonus Experience
- Design work for Pharmaceutical Industry
- Knowledge of GAMP/ATEX
Educational Background
- HNC Electrical Engineering
