An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client (a leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as TIGI, Impulse and VO5) are currently looking for a Change Transformation Project Manager. This is a full-time temporary role for a period of 12 months, working a 37.5-hour week, based at the client's prestigious offices in Battersea 2-3 days per week (working from home the remainder of the days). This role is paying up to £75,000 per annum, pro rata OR £650 per day (Ltd Contractors) depending on experience.

Elida Beauty has started its journey to becoming an exciting new business within the Beauty and Personal Care sectors. The next stage of this journey is the establishment of standalone commercial, legal, supply chain, IT infrastructure for Elida Beauty with the implementation of Oracle Cloud ERP and an outsourced Digital Hub (end to end marketing agency capability).

The role will report into the Chief Commercial Officer with a dotted line into the Regional Separation Project lead. You will work with a high degree of independence with a likeminded group of cross functional transformation leads (North America, Central Europe, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Technology) and 3rd party implementation partners.

The role requires a self-starter with an eye for detail, who has the confidence to navigate, with support, a complex stakeholder and solution environment, to deliver transformative change. You'll build up expert knowledge of operations, stakeholders, digital solutions and data in your area to: Support the scoping and prioritisation of new requirements as they emerge in your area - where applicable representing transformation in operational and governance forums. It would be beneficial if you have a background of understanding in sales operations and supply chain operations within UL or have worked on similar transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with UL local teams & Customers to ensure the smooth separation and transition from Unilever to Elida Beauty including the switch over of systems & processes in CD.
  • Support teams in preparation for Day 2 (internal separation) including documenting & developing interim CD processes and escalations.
  • "Intensive care" support for any post Day 1 issues to ensure smooth operation of GTM activity.
  • Keep the working process documentation on post day 1 activity updated as necessary to ensure the "as is" remains clear in the move towards Day 2 (full legal separation)
  • Create and own the documentation of the GTM model for UKI/ ANZ- process flows, activity definition (Evolved from materials coming from central Programme where available)
  • Ensure Team understanding of Target Operating Model (TOM) and that they are trained to perform their end-state roles in it.
  • Support in co-ordinating required data collection in the move towards Day 2 including global and local requests.
  • Support in the analysis, agreement and sign off of new customer Trade Terms.
  • Support in managing the customer negotiation of Trade Terms & vendor number transfers/EDI testing
  • Support or lead on the scoping, planning, design, delivery and handover of your initiatives, working collaboratively with stakeholders from around the business to ensure successful delivery.
  • Communicating with both the functional and technical teams on projects, monitoring and managing the quality, expectations and feedback to ensure there is a smooth process.
  • Operate an effective issue management process ensuring issues are identified, recorded in a timely manner with owners and resolution actions in place for and monitored until close out. Identifying appropriate issues for escalation with the CD function and leadership team.
  • Champion business adoption of new CD solutions, ensure role clarity, and adoption of new processes and procedures with business users.
  • Support your CD Lead in planning across the workstream by building collaborative relationships with operational stakeholders, conducting handover to operational run teams at an agreed, appropriate point of delivery.

Key Requirements

  • Experience in leading large scale FMCG Transformation project (both Direct and Distributor market models)
  • Strong understanding of CD operations processes & systems/ways of working
  • Deep FMCG process experience with experience in business ownership, process design
  • Experience and comfort in delivering with challenging project timelines
  • Experience of UL commercial planning & sales systems
  • Supply chain operations experience - Ideal not required
  • Oracle Cloud & SAP Experience - Ideal not required
  • Strong Bias for Action
  • Strong influencing skills, ability to develop internal and external business relationships, using knowledge, skills and experience to influence others
  • Highly experienced in drafting reports for Senior Leaders, providing insight, not just information.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Highly proficient in MS Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Project
  • High level of attention to detail
