We have an exciting opportunity to join a world-leading bank, working full-time on a temporary contract as a Card Operations Administrator. The role is based in Edmond St, Birmingham and will be on-site with the potential to work from home.

What you’ll need to do:

  • Providing a high level of quality customer service, undertaking daily operation of the departmental processes to a strong level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Be a point of reference for the department when faced with customer queries. To liaise with work colleagues in the GR sites as well as colleagues throughout cards, ensuring that processes are completed in accordance with audit requirements and within agreed service levels.
  • You will assist Technical/Management to ensure the team upholds the banks behaviours, whilst providing a high-quality customer service overall.

What we’ll need from you:

  • The ability to take ownership, using your own initiative.
  • To work Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm. If you’re able to work flexibly over evenings and weekends that would be advantageous.
  • Availability to attend up to two weeks of training at the office (Centenary Square, Birmingham).
  • Availability to start the role the role in mid-late March.
  • Commitment to working a 10-month contract.

Desired (but not essential) Experience & Skills

  • Administration experience in a financial services environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a small motivated team.
  • Have the ability to support and/or guide colleagues.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail whilst maintaining high volume of work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, together with excellent customer focus.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
