Manpower has a number of exciting opportunities within the Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) as a Band 3 - 111 Call Handler / Health Advisor.
These positions will be based within the Headquarters in Wakefield, the 111 Call Handler is a vital role as the first point of contact for the general public and health professionals amongst many other relevant callers.
YAS is well-established and serves over 5 million people across Yorkshire.
The 111 Call centre is open 24/7, 365 days a year with both part-time and full-time shift patterns available which will include evenings, nights, and weekends so flexibility is key.
The right candidate will have excellent attention to detail, accuracy, remain calm under pressure, have good customer service, be computer literate and be flexible with hours as some hours may be unsociable.
We are looking for dedicated reliable and hardworking individuals ideally with previous call centre or customer service experience but this is not essential as full training will be provided
20-, 24-, 30- and 37.5-Hour Rotas available, however, please note for the first 6 weeks during training the hours will be 37.5 per week, Monday - Friday from 08.00 - 16.00 or 16.00 - 00.00
Pay £9.50 any hours worked from 6am - 8pm Monday - Friday
Pay £12.83 any hours worked from 8pm - 6am Monday - Friday and any Saturday
Pay £16.06 any hours worked on a Sunday / Bank Holiday
Pay £10.40 any hours worked from 6am - 8am Monday - Friday
Pay £14.04 any hours worked from 8pm - 6am Monday - Friday and Saturday
Pay £17.58 any hours worked on a Sunday / Bank Holiday
This is a temporary to permanent roles with progression opportunities within the business.
