An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum, based at their Consumer Studies Centre in Port Sunlight, Wirral.
This is a part-time (18.5 hours per week) temporary role to last until the end of December 2022, to start ASAP. This role is paying £21,542 per annum, pro rata (£11.05 per hour)
Working Hours:
8:30am-3:30pm Mon, Tues and 9am-3pm Thurs = 18.5hrs
This pattern will be fixed although occasionally, there may be a need to be flexible.
We are looking for a highly motivated person to assist in delivering operational services in the Consumer Centre at Port Sunlight Research and Development. The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the R&D human test programme. The position will suit a self-starter with excellent customer service skills who is confident, and has experience of, using digital booking systems and databases. Attention to detail and accuracy is a must in this role.
The Consumer Centre at Port Sunlight administers internal testing supporting the Research & Development of home and personal care groups based at this site. A database of panellists (volunteers from the public) is maintained by the Centre. Panellists are invited on to site to test and provide feedback on new products being developed. 2022 is a critical time for the Centre as it will move location on site.
Key Accountabilities
- Meeting and greeting panellists. Meet and greet will be desk based then move to mobile (no desk) in July 2022
- Assist panellists with self-check in (from July 2022)
- Answering calls and emails from panellists
- Maintaining accurate records in the database
- Protecting data shared with the centre
- Scheduling tests and allocating rooms (with managers)
- Using panel management software
- Using room booking software
- Maintaining the professional image of Unilever with members of the public.
- Follow the Consumer Centre code of conduct
- Implement and follow safety guidelines
Key Skills Required
- Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office including Excel
- An eye for detail and confidence/accuracy in managing data is essential
- Experience of dealing with customers in a retail or service environment
- Experience with database booking or scheduling systems would be helpful
- GCSE maths and English (grade C or above)
- Strong communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills
- Planning and Organising
- Strong knowledge of using databases for setting up appointments
- Excellent customer service skills
