Working in a team of 6 reporting in to the Combat Systems Equipment Analysis Manager to support the customer with producing equipment analysis for in service submarine equipment using various tools and outputs. There is also an element of producing new ways of conducting analysis and outputs for the customer.

Who we are looking for?

We are looking for a Analysis Engineer to support the maintenance and development of analytical tools that enable the production of defect analysis reports, highlight underperforming equipment and provide recommendations to improve capability and availability.

What will you be doing?

* Apply basic techniques for analysis of a range of data and present findings to colleagues.
* Recognise and identify appropriate ways to collect, collate and prepare data, ensuring that the data is accurate and fit for purpose.
* Translate accurate information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Produce, understand and compare various data models / sets.
* Work with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver new analytical outputs / tools.
* Understanding data governance and how it relates to other organisational governance structures.

The experience you'll bring

* Degree qualified in a relevant STEM-based discipline or HND, Foundation Degree with relevant experience.
* To be working towards Chartered Engineer status or Incorporated Engineer status with relevant experience.
* Member of relevant professional engineering body.

* Data analytics experience.


You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
