Job Summary:

Represent the Procurement function at the location:

  • Co-ordinating with Planning to review the action message for expediting, de-expediting, and cancellation
  • Responsible for flagging & re-flagging exception message and communicate to PSC;
  • Communicate the outcome of exception message from PSC to Planning and Production Teams
  • Co-ordinate with key stakeholders in the centre and provides update related to PO delivery
  • Chairs the weekly open PO review with Schlumberger Internal Supplier
  • Chairs weekly Past Due & on-hold PO review, following up with Warehouse/ centre team to resolve PO where parts are delivered, but not received in the system
  • Responsible for PO preparation during the PO approval process: review PO line qty to benefit batch qty price break and contact supplier for potential split PO line qty to meet the urgent request, including getting the approval of expediting fees and communicate the PO split to PSC to implement.
  • Responsible for making sure that all the POs are closed and offering support to resolve invoice issues to ensure the full closure of the POs * Responsible for updating Procurement stage in FAA tracker
  • Responsible for support MEMO suppliers to submit the invoice properly in the system; Resolve the issues related missing/ lost invoices * Acts as the day to day first point of contact for the Procurement Service Centre (PSC) towards the E&M Center for all non-standard procurement requests, to include leading and communicating information, issues and initiatives etc.
  • Liaise with centre key stakeholders to support PSC on QN / RTV
  • Supports PSC locally in Expediting where direct local supplier contact is critically required or in case of issue (Logistics, Quality, NCRs, etc)
  • Collaborates with Center teams to support and improve compliance to procurement process channels as per the Procurement policy and SOP at the site.
  • Maintains the communication matrix between the locations and PSC and will act as a point of contact for escalation

Support the Procure to Pay (P2P) process locally:

  • Communicates with Center management on a regular basis on the performance levels of the P2P Metrics
  • Liaises with PSC Business Process Improvement leader on preparation of Procurement service level reports and feedback on improvement suggestions
  • Ensures compliance with the P2P channels and processes - in line with SOPs
  • Participates in Supplier Quality reviews with end users * Participates in SQ investigations as a link between the PSC and the E&M Center

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

Professional:

  • Preferably minimum 5-year experience in Procurement or related functional expertise (Planning, Operations Procurement, etc)
  • Understanding of procurement & sourcing systems, MfgPro, Oracle, or other ERPs.
  • Basic knowledge of local supplier landscape
  • Good leadership skills
  • Basic technical business knowledge to be capable of managing local supplier interactions and quotes
  • Negotiation skills
  • Able to analyse and solve problems

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's, Master's or equivalent in Supply Chain or Business Administration.
