We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative with a FLT Counterbalance license to join our client who is a leading global paints and coatings company. You will provide support to the logistics function on this COMAH site.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for loading outbound vehicles and unloading raw materials deliveries from trailers and tankers. You will also ensure your production colleagues have the raw material levels maintained by manually stocking pallets and delivering drums where needed.

You will be expected to safely handle and store high hazard chemical goods in specified locations, ensuring the recording of goods received is to a high standard, as well as finished goods being picked, organised and labelled ready for the daily collections. You will also ensure all raw material movements from production areas are made on time and are accurately recorded onto the ERP (SAP) system.

You must have experience of working in a busy warehousing environment (Chemical preferred) and have a Counterbalance Fork-Lift truck licence. You will have good IT literacy skills including SAP or other ERP systems including Microsoft Office. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills too. As a team player you will have a flexible approach and be good at prioritising tasks.
