We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to join us at Babcock International in delivering safe, available and capable submarine platforms throughout defined life extension and commission extension periods in support of the overall submarine programme.

Who we are looking for?
We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager to apply technical engineering knowledge, and project controls support across schedule management, risk and opportunity management, change management, as well as budgeting and cost control.

What will you be doing?
You'll be accountable for the delivery of allocated projects within time, cost and quality constraints as well as the identification & development of future opportunities. You won't have any direct reports but will be expected to lead the allocated department resource within the scope of your allocated project.

The experience you'll bring
* You will have a Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technology.
- A HNC, HNC, BTEC or Level 3 apprenticeship will also be accepted providing that you have continued appropriate learning has continued in the relevant specialisation.
* Registered with a professional body at the IEng status, or willing and capable to achieve it as part of your continued development.
* You will hold a Project Fundamentals Qualification such as APM, RICS or equivalent.
* Related engineering experience within a marine or defence environment would be highly beneficial.
* Previous project management would be advantageous.

You will need to satisfy security requirements. This may require you to hold or be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
