Duties included for ths role:
Day to day interface with LM Asset Management, Merlin Fleet Operations, Priority Progression Cell (PPC) and Squadron personnel primarily for the co-ordination, management and movement of CROWSNEST assets but also IMOS/LMSTAR assets as directed by the Culdrose logistics lead
Communicating to the Logistics Lead, any problems that may affect the smooth and expeditious flow of assets through the Culdrose boundary
Ensuring that all regulations appertaining to the receipt, issue, handling, preservation, stowage and security of all assets are carried out properly and being consistently applied
Co-ordinating the physical receipt/dispatch of all CROWSNEST assets being shipped by Asset Movement Requests (AMR), ensuring relevant documentation is maintained and assets are suitably packaged for off-station movement
Maintaining location and condition changes on LM GOLDesp for all CROWSNEST assets being processed in or out of the Culdrose boundary
Assist with carrying out Quality Assurance (QA) checks of (IMOS) assets for all programs, being sent to 4L Vendors, ensuring asset details match documentation, pack asset for external shipment ensuring sufficient packaging to avoid any damage in transit
Assist with carrying out QA checks of IMOS assets received from 4L Vendors for all programs, ensuring packaging is undamaged, unpacking of assets to ensure asset is undamaged and Part Number/Serial Number matches documentation for QA to accept receipt, then to repack asset, produce copies of documentation and distribute accordingly
Support monthly stock taking program to validate stock against LM GOLDesp and Ministry Joint Deployed Inventory (MJDI) and to check shelf-life details are correct where applicable.
Ensuring all Environmental Safety and Health regulations within the workplace are complied with
Adhering to the LMA Quality Management Plan (QMP), assist in audits as required and act upon Quality Observation Reports (QOR's) or other Quality Corrective Actions as detailed by the LM Programme Quality Engineer (PQE)
Provide support to the management of loans specific to Crowsnest and In-service Support Retrofit (ISR) programmes as required by the logistics management analyst
Provide support to the management of the Deployable Support Packs (DSP) as required by the logistics management analyst supervisor
Inability management and Air Stores Demand Electronic Record (ASDER) updates
Provide support of the monitoring and approval of Government Furnished Equipment (GFX) loans as required by the logistics management analyst supervisor
Adhere to the LM IMOS QMP, assist in audits as required and act upon QOR's or other Quality Corrective Actions as detailed by the LM PQE.
