We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Babcock Corporate Services business. You'll be working with our sectors, functions, and stakeholders across Babcock on high profiled projects to analyse, document and help implement IT solutions and business change. Primarily you'll be working with program and project delivery, along with our sectors and technical teams within the organisation.


Who we are looking for?
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work on IT initiatives, identifying the true business requirements to supply and develop IT solutions. You'll be a quick learner with excellent interpretation and problem-solving skills, as well as being adaptable to change in a fast-moving environment.


What will you be doing?
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be taking a pro-active and professional approach in communication with both internal and external stakeholders to drive a clear understanding of the project and business needs, building exceptional relationships along the way. You will use business analysis methodologies to seek solutions to business problems, supporting conversations and development of options with senior stakeholders.


You will hold workshops and facilitate meetings to capture, validate and prioritise business requirements, recommends options and define priorities. Working with test teams, you will perform gap analysis, developing solutions to ensure that all business and project requitements are met.


The experience you'll bring
You will be a knowledgeable business analyst who shows a strong understanding and demonstratable experience of analysis and process improvement techniques (Lean Six Sigma, BPMN) and have applied them within IT project environments.


You will have familiarity with business process and analysis techniques, be an excellent communicator and feel comfortable in facilitating process and requirement workshops.


You will show a broad understanding of IT solutions and the project lifecycle, having worked You will be experienced in working in both Agile and Waterfall project deliver teams and have experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders with competing priorities. You will feel comfortable writing requirements in a variety of formats including business requirements documents, Agile epics, features, user stories and developing backlogs.

Must hold or have ability to obtain SC security clearance
