Caretaker

We are currently recruiting for a Caretaker based in Uckfield for our client whom are a ambitious organisation.

The main role will be to support with looking after buildings, ensuring that they are kept in good state and carrying out any internal/external repairs.

Working hours will be on a shift rota over day/evening and weekend period with 1 weekend day a month at 37.5 hours a week (8 hours per day!).

The Main Duties:

• Monitor security and safety of all buildings including communal areas
• Key holder to unlock and lock up of buildings and in case emergencies arise
• Routine maintenance checks of lights, heating systems etc
• other duties will be required from time to time

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience within caretaking/security
• Manual handling and first aid certifications
• Ability to undertake minor repairs and maintenance
• Work independently to meet deadlines
• A driving license is required due to the duties and locations you will be working in.
