Vehicle Engineering

Vehicle Engineering is a market-leading manufacturer and converter of armoured vehicles and products. Drawing on over 100 years' experience, we supply and support deployed vehicles worldwide to customers including the police, fire and ambulance services, civil service, and military. Together, we deliver an end-to-end through-life methodology to supply our clients with specialist vehicle conversions.

The role

The difference our new Production Manager will make
As a Production Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary, effectively managing the businesses operational resource in order to safely deliver the required output against plan.

Day to day, you'll lead, inspire, support, and manage your people enabling them to deliver the required outputs efficiently and safely.

Essential experience

  • Educated to Level 4 in National Qualification Framework (NQF) as a minimum (Higher apprenticeship, HNC, Level 4 NVQ) or equivalent workplace experience
    * Completed relevant managerial Health and Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH, NEBOSH, British Safety Council)
    * Completed relevant management development courses
    * Ability to manage people, individuals and teams
    * HND in Engineering, Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Management desirable
