Job Role - Press brake Setter Operator

Location - Tewksbury GL20

Pay Rate - £14

Hours - Day shifts - 36.15 Hours Per Week with a half day on Friday!

Manpower have an exciting opportunity for a Press Brake Operator/Setter based in Tewksbury for a well established, rapidly growing client who are expanding due to new contract wins!

About the role

• Setting and operating Amada manual Press brakes, producing components to drawing specification, ensuring Health and Safety obligations are maintained at all times.
• General production duties working within PEPs staff training matrix.
• Ensuring any product tolerance issues during production are brought to the attention of the quality department at the earliest opportunity.
• Ensuring a clean, tidy, and efficient working area.
• Reporting any Health and Safety issues to the shop floor representative, or in his absence to the Health and Safety manager.
• Undertake any other reasonable task required by the company.

About you

• Good dexterity
• Basic English and maths skills
• Ability to work with others as part of a team
• Good concentration and attention to detail
• Clean driving license
• A desire to learn new skills
• Sheet metal experience would be a distinct advantage

Working hours

• Monday to Thursday 8am until 4:30pm
• Friday 8am until 12:15
• 25 hours per week
