Freight Sales Executive

Manpower are currently working with a specialist Freight & Logistics organisation in Gravesend who are now looking to add an experienced Freight Sales Executive to their successful team.

The Freight Sales Executive will be focused on managing existing key accounts and business development management - providing & researching leads for new opportunities and building relationships with clients and suppliers internationally to manage and support their expectations to reach deadlines within the Entertainment & Events Industry.

With many expansions over the years, from new offices in Manchester, Hong Kong, China & Brazil as well as a continued, growing team and client base - this is an excellent organisation to join for those looking for career development, progression & to be part of a passionate, successful team.

Responsibilities:

* To act as the primary point of contact for quotations and enquiries for ad-hoc business
* To identify sales opportunities. Profiling all new business to understand intricately how you can support with freight / logistics services
* To generate new sales, linked directly to the current business plan
* Respond to incoming enquiries from the website, via LI, telephone and email
* Use the CRM system to effectively record, manage and develop opportunities
* Source your own business leads and act on those provided by Sales and Operations Colleagues as well as using other tools given.

Ideal profile:

• An established freight, import & export sales background (5 years+)
• Prior experience of managing key accounts
• Experience in shipping, freight, transport, OR import & export
• A key communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly
• The desire to grow, succeed and achieve targets.

The salary on offer will be dependent on experience + uncapped bonus earning potential.

Please note this will be an office-based role, in Gravesend Monday to Friday.
