Claims Handler

Fantastic job opportunity for a Claims Handler to join our client a well established Claims Management Company just outside of Orpington, Kent

Permanent Position - Full Time

37.5 hours per week - £25,000 per annum

As a Claims Handler you will be required to work as part of the Claims Management Team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of open cases dealing with customers in a professional, friendly and timely manner. Customer Service is the the sole focus of our clients business and are looking for individuals who are resilient, customer focused and open to a challenge!

As a Claims Handler your will will also involve the below:

• Dealing with inbound and outbound calls to customers, clients, external third party insurances and other external companies
• Efficiently supporting customers from start to finish of a claim procedure
• Making sure all relevant paperwork is adhered to company compliance and dealt with in a timely manner
• Organising Vehicle Hire for customers whilst claims are being dealt with
• Accurately recording all information on company database
• Following Company Procedures at all times
• Hitting Monthly KPI's

Our Ideal Candidate will be able to meet the following:

• Good communications skills, both verbal and keyboard, including the ability to converse with people at varying levels
• A Customer Focused Mindset
• Previous Call Centre/Insurance experience preferable but not essential as full training given
• Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Be able to work as a Team but also under own intuitive
