Salary: £11.50 per hour starting rate

ASAP start ending in mid August

Manpower is recruiting for a Prestigious Sporting Event taking place in Warwick. As this is a large-scale project, we are recruiting various roles to help support this event.

The jobholder will be expected to,

  • Support the logistics, delivery and equipment distribution at Commonwealth Games warehouses, venues and villages.
  • The general operative will be expected to use minor manual handling equipment and techniques to assist with the loading/unloading of vehicles, the distribution of equipment & FF&E in the logistics compounds, field of play and other specified areas around the venues & villages.
  • Working in accordance with workforce contract manager, team leaders, Deputy Venue Logistics Managers and FLT drivers, the general operative will be expected to safely carry out manual handling, distribution and non-technical re fulling duties as and when required.
  • Ensure safe & efficient material handling onsite, and have the ability to work independently with limited supervision or work within a team and follow instructions as directed.
  • Ideal candidates will have a flexible, hands-on approach towards work and a positive can-do attitude. As part of the Vetting process, you must pass a DBS check.
