Great role on offer for a vehicle mechanic looking to work on a variety of vehicles, with a good work/life balance and supportive team.
Babcock International is one of the largest providers of support services to the emergency services sector. We manage vehicles and equipment on behalf of organisations such as London Fire Brigade, Metropolitan Police Service and the Highways Agency. And as one of our Vehicle Mechanics, you'll play a vital role in keeping their vehicles on the road and in great working order.
Working in a team of eight, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and overhaul of vehicles, assemblies, electrical and general equipment including diagnostic and inspection duties.
* Mechanical servicing

* Occasional rebuilds
What do I need for the role?
You will need to hold an NVQ in mechanics as a minimum, however we are open to the level of working experience. You will need to have good mechanical aptitude and be able to think about problems logically.
What else do I need to know?
Hours worked are flexible and you can accrue time to take off when you choose.
