** Shunter Driver Required-Immediate Start**

** 25h Per Week- With Possible Overtime**
**£13.00ph**

We are proud to be working with a Leading Global Transport company and we are looking for an individual to support us as a Shunter Driver on a part-time temporary basis, based in Launceston, across Tuesday - Saturday 4am - 9am. In return, you will be provided with a competitive salary of £13ph

Shunter role will consist of, moving trailers on/off the loading bay, parking empty and full trailers within the premises, and assisting in the loading of trailers.
You will be confident in driving a shunting tug and will be trained to operate machinery within the logistics department.

After 21 shifts you will be required to complete a DBS check which the cost will be covered by ourselves, so please advise us if you have any unspent criminal convictions.

The key responsibilities of a Shunter Driver will include:

• Good Communication skills
• Undertaking the basic upkeep of the shunt vehicle
• Placing trailers in the required areas as instructed by warehouse management
• Ensuring all necessary safety checks are carried out
• Working in line with Health & Safety legislation
• Tipping/loading vehicles- Moving goods from the front to the back of the trailers
