The Regional Trainer - Active Leisure role is based within our Training business area.

The role The difference our new Regional Trainer - Active Leisure will make

As a Regional Trainer - Active Leisure, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will play an integral role in assisting the education, development and assessment of the next generation of Personal Trainers and Gym Instructors in achieving apprenticeships.

Day to day, you'll be supporting individuals undertaking level 2, 3 and 4 apprenticeships through a blend of face-to-face and online sessions. Moreover, using your knowledge and experience you will be able to train, assess and progress learners in-line with the Awarding Body code of practice and Babcock Quality Assurance. Other core responsibilities include diary management, maintenance and record of Continuous Professional Development, alongside maintenance of documentation within e-portfolio system.

Essential experience

  • L2 Maths, English and ICT (essential)
  • Industry relevant qualifications, e.g. (Personal Training or Gym Instructing) HND or NVQ's
  • CAVA qualification or desire to achieve
  • UK Driver License (highly desirable) - travel component across defined area
