The role The difference our new Vehicle Technical Assessor will make
As a Vehicle Technical Assessor, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This is a rewarding role with great work-life balance, where you will be accountable for assessing apprentices at the end of their first, second and third years to ensure that their skills are at the appropriate level. This is your opportunity to ensure the high quality expected from VWG apprentices.
Day to day, you'll use your experience as a technician or mechanic to carry out assessments of VWG apprentices for their factory accreditation against clients agreed targets and IMI set standards to achieve their qualifications. You will set up and facilitate various assessments in a timely and standardised fashion and support the training team to deliver high quality, valid and reliable assessments.

Essential experience
- At least one-year relevant industry experience.
- Experience as a technician or mechanic.
- Level 3 Automotive qualification (IMI, City&Guilds etc)
- You will hold or have the ability to obtain enhanced DBS security clearance with Adults Barred Listed check
