The Site Agent role is based within our Rail business area
Babcock Rail is the largest conventional plain line track renewals company in the country with over 50% of the market. With our partners Alstom and Costain, under the ABC Electrification joint venture, we are also one of the largest electrification companies in the UK.
The difference our new Site Agent will make
As a Site Agent, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be a key part of complex track renewals projects across Network Rail's infrastructure.
Day to day, you'll manage a team of staff and sub-contractors to ensure that all project work undertaken is within Railway Group and Network Rail Line Standards. Projects under your control will be delivered to the required quality, in a timeous and effective manner, following full co-ordination of the construction with the Project Engineering and Project Management functions.

* In depth knowledge of Network Rail Group and Line Standards.
* Excellent understanding of Rules & Regulations, H.A.S.A.W and other appropriate regulations.
* Experience in working in the operational railway environment
* Relevant Civil Engineer qualifications.
