We at Manpower are currently recruiting for an Administrator. This is a permanent position starting ASAP. The purpose of this role is to support the technical team and managers working on the HNCDI program and other research tasks and is a key part of this team. The role is based at the STFC SciTech campus at Daresbury, near Warrington. You will be expected to be work from the office full-time, although if there are any access restrictions due to such situations as a covid lock-down, you would be expected to be able to continue to work from home. A laptop would be provided for day-to-day work which would be usable in this situation.

Responsibilities

As an Administrator you will be tasked with the following:

• General office management
• Administering contractual documents for HNCDI project
• Managing business controls for the team, ensuring that we are compliant and audit ready
• Assisting with grant and programme management
• Admin support to senior management (diaries, travel bookings, expenses etc)
• Business operations support: eg time recording and resource management so that we can make optimal and timely recoveries to contracts
• Procurement support, eg ordering basic requirements for the department (stationary, kitchen requisites etc)
• Event management, eg THINK Lab bookings, rooms, catering, access etc
• Interacting with STFC business operations and site management

Skills

Required skills include experience in an office-based administration role having good communication and organisation skills together with competence in using Microsoft office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
