Defence Equipment

The Paint Sprayer role is based within our Defence Equipment business area.

Defence equipment stores, maintains, repairs and overhauls military vehicles and equipment so the UK army is able to train and deploy in a moment. As well as supporting vehicles that are already in service, the team carries out vehicle assembly integration and tests new vehicles.

The role The difference our new Paint Sprayer will make

As a Paint Sprayer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for managing your own workload and ensuring that all paint tasks are completed to a high standard whilst following company health, safety and environmental procedures.

Day to day, you'll carry out paint work to the required standard and specification as detailed on the job card in accordance with the customer requirements, current regulations, local instructions, processes and other approved technical publications. You will also be responsible for training, mentoring and supporting an apprentice whilst managing your own workload.

Essential experience

• 2 years paint spraying experience - heavy commercial vehicles
• Hold valid UK driving licence

Desired experience

• Forklift experience
• Body fitting experience
