I have an amazing opportunity for a Business Support Analyst to be a part of a global logistics network. The role is to assist various heads of departments to help improve processes and systems, conducting research and analysis, and solving problems and mitigating risk.

About the role:

Smart Working will be different for each role but could include things like (up to) 50% remote working, core hours and flexible start and finish times. This is an attractive Hybrid role.

Duties:

  • Conducting data analysis and gathering information to identify potential business problems and areas for improvement
  • Providing clear and compresses data and documentations that enable decisions to be applied
  • Mapping requirements to business needs
  • Creating comprehensive documentation outlining their findings that can be understood company-wide
  • Presenting findings and creating useful reports on business impact
  • Communicating at all levels to understand potential issues and conducting observations to further investigate business processes to be reported for corrective plans to be put in place
  • Support training and coaching for business development
  • Proposing solutions to key stake holders to enable continuous improvements and mitigating risk
  • Assist and gather information for any associated project budgeting and forecasting

Requirements:

  • Experience within Land freight within the company OR experience within project planning or project support is essential
  • IT literate - Microsoft Excel/Word/Outlook
  • Broad knowledge of Land business and systems
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written with ability to deliver to all levels
  • Independent worker who is proactive and has high attention to detail.
    Project Management Cert/Diploma (Desirable)Database administration (DB2/MSSS) (Desirable)

Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 working Mon-Fri 9-5pm, plus extensive benefits and career progression opportunities.
