We have a fantastic opportunity to join the world's most broadly-based healthcare company supporting their business as Junior Financial Analyst. This is a full time (Monday to Friday - 37 hours) temporary role for 2 months (until mid-October 2022), based on their prestigious site in Pinewood, Wokingham, paying £15-17 per hour DOE.
The Junior Analyst position will be responsible for providing support with Month End processes, Intercompany as well as involvement in compliance related initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for monthly close activities for OUS MRCs, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, SOX reporting
- Support Financial Reporting requirements for Quarter End
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships across company
- Complete Intercompany process for UK and Germany entity (including raising cross charges, reconciliation of statements)
- Complete Lease Asset Sale & Cash Posting processes
- Participate in global standardisation and optimisation initiatives and projects.
- Proactively contribute to ensuring and improving a strong internal control environment e.g. completing technical trainings, identifying risks and proposing potential solutions and supporting documentation of Work Instructions
- Ad hoc tasks & analysis as required.
- There are high demands around the close and forecast cycles and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements / audit timings will influence work patterns.
- An agile approach and ability to adjust to changing timetables and short lead times is frequently required.
- As an integral member of UK finance team there is a requirement to be involved in projects and the implementation of new initiatives.
