GRADUATE ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN (ASBESTOS ANALYST)

My Clients are seeking candidates for a fully funded training programme to become Asbestos Analysts, a specialisation within the environmental sector.

The Role:

An asbestos analyst's job can be described in two parts; 1) to conduct air tests, analyse filters under a microscope and produce a certificate of results, 2) to complete a formal process of inspection and testing following removal of asbestos (completed by others). UKAS accredited methods keep both the analyst and building occupants completely safe throughout.

    Assist authorised analysts in conducting their duties.Learn to setup and correctly use technical equipment such as air pumps and microscopes.Use tablet PCs to collect data and accurately describe findings.Travel from site to site, arriving on time and communicating effectively.Be proactive in your learning and development.
Role Requirements:

    Must have a full UK driving licence and enjoy drivingBe willing to complete an enhanced DBS checkHold GCSE A-C or equivalent in Maths, English and ScienceCandidate must pass the P403/4 or RSPH equivalent (fully funded and supported by Riverside)Must be friendly, professional and hard working at all times.Be able to pass technical audits and exams.Be methodical in their approach and excellent at communication.
