Workshop Fitter

Job Title: Workshop Fitter (Welfare)

Salary: £25k - £27k

Location: Bristol

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent. Monday to Friday (possibly some weekend work paid as over time)

Shifts can either be 7:30am-4:30pm or 8am-5pm. Over time is 1.5 x rate of salary agreed.

A well established Hire company in Bristol are looking for a Fitter to join their busy workshop.

The Role:

As a Fitter you will play a pivotal role in the depot to ensure that all customers can hire what they want, when they need it through the efficient servicing and maintaining a variety of welfare equipment. As part of their high-performing depot team, you will be responsible for identifying and repairing any faults or damage to equipment including portable toilets and welfare units whilst accurately updating service records.

Successful Applicants should demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience working as a plant fitter role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served
• Sound and current knowledge of welfare units is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• A customer-focused approach workload and committed team player
• A valid driving licence is essential.
