Manpower are recruiting an Administrator on behalf of our public sector client.

Job role

You will work within the place based Quality and Safety Team providing support to ensure an effective and efficient system for monitoring quality and safety across a variety of providers.

You will be responsible for providing and co-coordinating a range of administrative and organisational support to the Quality and Safety Team and liaising with wider Clinical Commissioning Group Teams and external partners to ensure the commissioning of safe and high quality services.

Supporting the team with the management of projects, gathering information, writing reports and undertaking enquiries as and when is necessary for the Head of Quality and Safety and wider team. You will provide and co-ordinate administrative and secretarial services, including the preparation of agendas,minute taking, following up on actions and as and where required to support the CCG primary care function.

Essential criteria

  • Educated to NVQ 4 level or NVQ level 3 plus significant experience to diploma level, in a relevant subject or equivalent level of qualification or significant equivalent previous proven experience.
  • Significant data entry experience including initiating and maintaining IT systems and databases.
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT systems and programmes such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Experience in dealing with the public and dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team
  • Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent writing skills, including the ability to summarise information and key issues
  • Understanding of Confidentiality and Data Protection Act (GDPR)
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Able to organise and prioritise workload
  • Positive attitude and highly self-motivated
  • Professional, calm and efficient manner

Location - This is a hybrid role but you will be expected to attend the office once or twice a week based in Walsall.

Contract - 3 months (initially), August - Mid November 2022

Hours - Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
