Warehouse Operative/Forklift Operator - Maldon

Manpower Supply Chain has a new and exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work for our prestigious client who is a world leader in life sciences! The company is looking for a confident and experienced warehouse worker who also holds an accredited counterbalance forklift licence to join their distribution team in Maldon. Candidates will preferably hold 1 years prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment however full training will always be provided from day one. As long as candidates hold the necessary FLT licensing, have a friendly, can-do attitude, are reliable, engaged and willing to listen and learn, then please feel free to apply! Salary

£22,000 basic per annum plus achievable monthly production bonuses averaging around £300 extra per month with an annual expected OTE of 25.000+! Overtime and weekend work also available!

Working hours

Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15.45

Fridays - 07:00 to 13:00 (Early finish Fridays!!!)

15 minute tea break and 30 minute lunch break to choose at your own leisure Monday to Friday

Your challenges

  • Support production teams with the receipt, storage and supply of components to the shop floor
  • Ensure deliveries are unloaded and stored in a timely manner
  • To be able to work effectively within a team and a fast-paced environment
  • To operate a counterbalance forklift truck safely throughout a busy shopfloor as well as fulfilling other manual handling duties

Your expertise

  • Distribution of items to the shopfloor
  • Loading and unloading of deliveries
  • Booking in of materials
  • Ensuring workplace is kept in good order for health & safety
  • Excellent communication skills to all levels of the business
