Clyde
The Senior Quality & Improvement Specialist is based within our HMNB Clyde business area.

As the Ministry of Defence's commercial partner at HMNB Clyde, Babcock provides specialist engineering support services, including the management of infrastructure and nuclear facilities. We also deliver operational maintenance, upgrades and repairs to support Royal Navy vessels, including the Vanguard and Astute-Class nuclear submarines.

The role
The difference our new Senior Quality & Improvement Specialist will make
As a Senior Quality & Improvement Specialist you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will assist the Base Quality Manager in the governance of the Quality Management System, providing support for organisational change management and improvement advice.

Day to day, you'll work with the surrounding team to utilise all of the Quality Assurance resources, ensuring that all tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's cost, time and quality requirements. You will be responsible for implementation of our safety, quality and environmental policies within the Quality Assurance Area and design key processes for Quality Assurance and the delivery of associated improvement projects. You will also have the opportunity to design and implement the ABL Audit programme and the SWS inspection programme, as well as designing and delivering Quality Assurance induction and training programmes.

Essential experience

* Achieved ISO9001 Lead Auditor Qualification
* Achieved Chartered Quality Institute Level 3 qualification or equivalent
* Achieved Chartership with the Quality Management Institute
* You will demonstrate knowledge of Site Operations Quality Management practice, Quality Management tools and Risk Management techniques,
