Job Title: Fibre Broadband Advisers - multiple temporary roles available

Genuine opportunities for temp-to-permanent

Making a positive difference in people's lives. That's what motivates our client. They are also passionate about embracing diversity, celebrating inclusion and championing new ideas and personal growth. From across the table to around the UK, the path to innovation comes from the desire to deliver and their philosophy of finding outstanding people to join them.

Who are they? Our client is a fast-growing, full fibre optic, Gigabit internet service provider (ISP) and they are building a next generation, ultrafast broadband network for homes and businesses across the east of England. They are led by a highly experienced team of telecoms professionals and their offices are located in Spalding in Lincolnshire. Their broadband services are already available to tens-of-thousands of homes in six towns across the region. The reason they are advertising these roles is because they urgently need some professional, bright, fun and sales-focussed temporary colleagues to boost their capacity to spread the word about their brilliant new network to residents in the six ready-for-fibre towns. And as you read this, their ambitious network build programme continues to lay fibre to dozens of new towns as they continue to grow their fibre-to-home footprint across the UK.

This is a fantastic role for those wanting to start a career in sales or gain valuable experience of dealing with the public and prospective customers in a fast-paced subscription-based market. It will help build confidence, improve your communication skills and develop your ability to be able to have a persuasive conversation with anyone in any situation. You will be provided with full training so you don't need to have pre-existing sales experience (although it's fine if you do). All you need to bring is a genuine desire to help people, a passion for all things digital and a positive, friendly and fun attitude.

As a growing business dealing with something as crucial as internet connectivity, it is important that you focus on providing the best customer experience possible with every interaction you have with residents and the public. You will be an ambassador for our clients business and service brand and so must look and sound professional, polite and super-helpful at all times. This is especially important given that you will be working in well-defined communities where word of mouth really matters.

Our client is looking for 10+ confident and passionate people, to help identify new prospective customers and sign them up as subscribers to their amazing fibre optic broadband service.

The work will be fast-paced, varied and fun.

One day you will be helping out in the community, visiting resident's homes (door-to-door) and asking them about their current home broadband experience. The purpose of doing this is to gather information about peoples changing home broadband needs and to see if our clients products and services can help them in the future.

Another day, you could be part of a crew staffing a pop-up event in one of the six towns during market day. Having a laugh with local people in their communities and reminding them that a faster and more future proof type of home broadband is now available to them.

Then you might be helping out our desk-based Fibre Advisers answer the phones or respond to customers sales enquiries that come in via email.

So this is a sales-focussed role but with a soft, community-focussed and consultative edge. There is a strong emphasis on 'teach don't preach' and successful candidates will have to demonstrate a talent for explaining the benefits of our clients service in a way anyone can understand.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Going to newly released towns to create brand awareness
  • Calling on residents homes (door-to-door visits) and asking residents about their current broadband
  • Capturing warm sales leads to be followed up later by colleagues if more convenient for the customer
  • Quickly assessing residents prioritised broadband needs
  • 'Pivoting' from capturing data mode - to developing and closing sales opportunities wherever possible
  • Speaking with customers on the telephone, via email and web-chat (all training provided)
  • Educating the customer on the products and services offered
  • Answering prospective customers specific questions
  • Developing strong relationships with local people antibusiness
  • Always finding ways to bring value to prospective and existing subscription customers
  • Being an all round ambassador for our clients company and service

Skills:

  • Mobility: Full Driving license is desired but not essential
  • Resilience: The ability to handle rejection and remain positive, polite and focussed
  • Authenticity: Speaking with confidence and authority
  • Empathy: Social perceptiveness and a genuine passion for helping people
  • Service: A desire to ensure everyone you interact with has a positive and pleasant experience
  • Negotiation: The ability to close a deal using a win-win approach
  • Critical Thinking: The ability to think clearly and decisively - on your feet
  • Time Management: Personal effectiveness
  • Questioning skills: Active Listening and intuition to quickly assess opportunities to provide customer solutions

Shifts:

  • Monday - Saturday either 10am - 6pm or 11am - 7pm
  • Saturday work allows an additional day in the week off
  • If Sundays are required for events time off in the week will be given
  • Event work which will be agreed upon at the time

Benefits:

  • Brilliant team environment
  • Learn new skills
  • Opportunities to become a permanent employee of this growing, new business
  • Business mileage expenses covered

You will be working in a number of areas such as Boston, Bourne, Kings Lynn, Peterborough, Skegness, Spalding, Stamford

Our client needs to fill these roles urgently - so apply now to avoid missing out on this excellent opportunity. If you need more information, please call 07483 936411.
