Assembly Fitter

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Fitter in Leeds working a day shift, Monday to Friday working straight days. Working onsite for a large engineering manufacturer, this is a permanent position.

Your role will include following engineering drawings and assembling a variety of components. Your role will also include the balancing of rotors, working with hydraulics, skid packaging and alignments of pumps and motors. Previous use of an overhead craned would be beneficial.

In return you will receive a good rate of pay, overtime is available and paid at time and a half, there is an early Friday finish, free parking and you will be in a comfortable work environment. Pension, share scheme and generous holiday allowance is also part of the package.

Ideally, you will be apprentice trained and qualified up to level 3 as a mechanical fitter., candidates with knowledge of the oil and gas industry will be of particular interest.
