CNC Machine Operative

I have a fantastic opportunity for CNC machine operator to join my client on a full-time permanent basis, who are a national supplier of bespoke doors and frames works.

Salary from £11 - 15 per hour depending on experience
Plus over time at an enhanced rate

The working hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4.00pm (early finish most Fridays)
Flexible working hours with overtime available at enhanced rate.
20 days holiday + bank holidays and 3 days off over Christmas

For the position of CNC machine Operative, you should have proven experience of programming, setting and operating flatbed cutting machines and of working within a busy and pressurised manufacturing environment.

Main Duties

• Programming, setting, and operating Flat Bed cutting and routing machines.
• Ensuring all production schedules are delivered on time and to the required specifications.
• You must be able to follow all relevant procedures and consistently achieve the targets set around Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Essential Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• At least one years' experience of using CNC engineering equipment
• PC literate and able to use Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Ability to adapt to changes in volume, work patterns and priority levels
• A natural interest in Manufacturing and its processes
• Problem solving and analytical skills Desired Requirements:
• Specific experience of using Zilog Programming an advantage
