Transport Co-ordinator

Manpower Logistics are looking to recruit a Transport Co-Ordinator for our client in Immingham.

In this role you will be responsible for-

• Communicating with Customers and Hauliers in a polite and professional manner, both on the Telephone and via email.
• Organising and allocating orders to haulage contractors in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
• Ensuring that deliveries are made in accordance with customers business requirements.
• Maintaining regular contact with hauliers.
• Resolving any issues that arise.
• Complying with driving legislation's such as ADR documentation and special requirements of vehicles.
• Ensuring that there is adequate numbers of haulage contractors to deliver and maintain site dispatches.
• Ensuring Health and Safety requirements are adhered to at all times.

The ideal candidate must be -

• Pro-active and approachable
• Have good communication and negotiation skills
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work well under pressure
• Have good time management skills
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel
• Able to demonstrate previous experience in a Customer Service position

The company is a leading Fertiliser Manufacturing company based on Immingham Docks.

• Starting Salary: £25,000 PA (Increased upon completion of 12 week probationary period)
• Monday - Friday
• 08:00am - 16:30pm
• Temp to Perm after 12 weeks
