Warehouse Sorter - Afternoons - 15.00 - 23.00

Location - Birmingham

Pay Rate - £11.26

Monday - Friday

As a sorter you'll be based in one of the parcel depots, sorting and preparing parcels for delivery.

This role is a vital part in the chain to ensure all our customers get their parcels on time. Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading trailers
• Moving van and vehicles
• Sorting parcels from conveyor belts into cages
• Moving cages
• Scanning parcel barcodes
• Working a part of the wider company and depot team to improve customer service
• Maintain safe lifting and handling of heavy parcels even during busy periods

Essential

• Works accurately using post codes to sort parcels into cages
• Is a team player, willing and flexible enough to help colleagues to ensure that all our customers get their parcels on time.
• This role will include moderate and repetitive lifting, for periods of time.
