The role

The difference our new Technician will make
As Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will help generate significant value by providing support to the Repair Overhaul and Heavy Test facility with new build and repair work for MOD and Overseas marine platforms (Ships and Submarines).

Day to day, you'll support the Repair and Overhaul Facility manager and various delivery teams with any issues and queries related to surveying/ repair/testing work-providing support to essential tasks to ensure Babcock succeed in delivering right first time to budget and on time.

Essential experience

* Working with closed loop control systems involving high pressure air and hydraulics
* Hydraulic system fitting, fault diagnosis and maintenance
* Pneumatic system fitting, fault diagnosis and maintenance
* Assembling systems for test from engineering drawings
* Working in confined spaces and at height
* Following test procedures, reporting faults and findings
